National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) has become the environmental joke of science.  There are many reasons for this including the present administrations anti-scientific and anti-environmental stance.  In fact, this administration has done much to basically destroy NEPA.  However, the policy had problems before its disassembling by this administration.  The first problem is that the Environmental Assessments (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) were sometimes very poorly written. The second problem is that they failed to take in the cumulative effects of pollutants and impacts etc.  The third problem is that the methods used are inflexible and do not allow for changes due to data analysis. Fourth, you can be come to ultra specific in early planning and fail to understand the overall objectives to be accomplished.

If your company or organization is a part of a NEPA plan in terms of writing, remediation, or implementation allow us to help. We understand the basic inherent weakness of the original law and can help in all aspects of NEPA.
